Fathers day 16/06/2019

been at work so not going out,my fathers day is overridden by my daughters birthday(yesterday) so a lovely card, never mind the bollocks pistols mug :) a corfu ashtray , block of chocolate and a morrissey album so im a happy bunny :)

I received a lovely card with photos on from my daughter and a lynx body wash and deodorant!
It’s the thought that counts ha.
Now she is looking for £50 for a pair of flip-flops or sliders they call them, bargain though as the RRP is £150 apparently ! FFS!
I’d love to have the option to take the old boy for a pint today though as much as i don’t necessarily agree with the commercialised aspect of the day.
Happy Father’s day Blues.

Turned out to be a free lunch, as my partner turned up a chunk of meat in her Mexican vegetarian bowl, and the manager was even more appalled than she was and waived payment for all 4 of us. Best father's day lunch ever!
haha good to see it meant a lot mate!

Just opened my gift a bottle of 'Siblings' Aussie red from the kids. Going to have it with a Lakeland rib of beef. No Sunday night blues here.(or rags!!!)

Yet another card shop payday!

Valentines Day - never have and never will participate in it

Mother’s Day - is some Christian thing about visiting your Mother church where you were Christened, it’s nothing to do with the woman who gave birth to or adopted you, leave it to the religious nutters

Father’s Day - even my Father agrees that it’s a scam to get money out of the public and not about honouring the bloke who’s ball bag you came from.

Celebrate and look after and do nice things for your loved ones all year round on random days of your choice. Don’t feel the social and enterprise pressures to do something on exact days they tell you you’re supposed to.

Chinese for tea and a few beers to wash it down. Took the kids swimming, had the worst toast ever made in the history of toast in bed this morning by my son, but a lovely day.

I had a great day. Went to the Belmore in Brooklands with Mrs Hef and the child. Got a complimentary pint glass and a voucher for a free drink - Mrs Hef then went to town and me and the child went home and I had 4 cans of San Miguel(I’m now on the gin)
