I spent many days on this beauty down Oxford Rd early 80s. Used to get 10 bob or a nicker off the old dear under the pretence of going to the Odeon on a Saturday. My mam thinks i watched hundreds of films, i didn't see one! Thanks for posting, great memories.

Think I'm going to have to get my arse up to that Arcade Club in Bury that someone linked to earlier in this thread. They've got Scramble in there. In fact, it looks a cracking place to spend a few hours. I see they've even got a licensed bar as well. What's not to like? ;)

There were some cracking bugs in that game. On the high jump (or was it pole vault?) I seem to recall it was possible to jump under the bar from a certain position and as long as you didn't knock the bar off it counted as a legitimate clearance!

I used a Kempston joystick and more or less used to fuck it up. If any youth from today see me wiggling that joystick they'd probably take the piss and accuse me of having a good wank. Good game though
