Favourite Arcade Machines

Galaga was it. Played for hours. And an obscure game called Tempest.

Things like Double Dragon and Pac Man. People complain about video games now and pricing but arcade machines used up a lot of dosh. I remember some lad used to get given a few quid a night and his mum just worked at the chippy.

I'm shit at computer games, so I could spend all my holiday money on one if they let me.

I've never considered computer games particularly overpriced when you work out how many hours of entertainment you get out of them. Having said that, I like to stay a little behind the times so that I get them for cheap.

Aliens, gun sound was realistic, it vibrated as you fired to i think, beat the shit out of the nes gun i had at the time for duck hunt.

WWF a classic! All I remember was the phosphorus burns in half the machines and crowds of people watching you huddled around. It just seemed to add up quick!

I loved my spectrum but arcade machines were so much better

Always got me two bob's worth playing Missile Command or Missile Storm. Oh and PacMan when I learned that one path cleared all the screens!

Spent a fortune at Pensarn and the Black Cat on these things, later venturing to the Knights' Caverns in Rhyl because it was more up to date.
