A few of us used to go swimming at Bury baths and then play the star wars game in the cafe upstairs after. Then we'd go to a chippy near the Knowsley pub and play kung-fu master. Ah memories.

Phoenix was good in arcades.

I have manic miner on an emulator. That intro can ruin someone's ear drums permanently. Dodgy controls, dodgy music, dodgy colors overlapping. The spectrum was shite yet addictive
