Favourite Beer

Or just buy good quality bottled beer from Aldi for between £1.09 & £1.49

They're ok quality, I've tried them.

The cans of craft beer in Aldi however ARE superb and great value

I get people think this is a fad, it's not. I much prefer draught beer as you savour it and drink it slowly. Whether it's to do with the higher volume of CO2 and strength I'm not sure but I rinse through bottles like there's no tomorrow.

Do you buy your kegs online for perfect draft or can you buy them from any shops? I've seen Amazon offer a few free delivery which makes it a very reasonable cost per pint.
Order from beer hawk and they collect your empties and get a £5 off each keg sent back works out about £2.80 a pint that way. Plus there’s a 15% discount code on 3 kegs - 15PDKT which makes it even better

Which ones would you recommend?
In branded, I like both Hobgoblins, the dark and Amber.
Proper Job IPA.
Spitfire.
If I fancy a relatively low ABV bitter Banks is 89p
They have their own brand beers under the Harpers label and both golden ales at 99p & £1.09 are excellent for the price
Regarding Aldi own label, it's always a matter of try it and see
The one thing I don't buy is their own lager, Reinbacher. I did used to drink this if I fancied a lager but it doesn't taste the same as it did.

Aldi do there own version of Moretti called Birra Mapelli. £1.29 for a 500ml bottle. Great stuff.

They do St. Pierre as well which is value for money

Slightly off topic but this cider is terrific. Tastes like cider should.
I get it in Sainsbury's.

I've had it over the years but great to see a lot more local places are serving Beavertown Neck Oil on draught.

Beautiful drink
