Vegetarian Dish.
Last night I cooked a vegetarian dish, tagliatelle rather than spaghetti. Quick and easy.
1. Into a saucepan put a little olive oil and warm slowly.
2. Add: Mini tomatoes red and yellow, peppers roughly chopped red and orange, olives both green and black, capers, spring onion chopped, a few frozen peas, a few Broad beans, a chilli. Cook off on med low heat.
3. Add tomatoes ground to a pulp in a food processor plus some water to create a thin sauce. (Alternative passata or tomato paste plus extra water)
4. Cook off on low heat with salt and black pepper to taste. When sauce has thickened, turn off heat and give it 30 mins to rest and mature a little.
5. In that rest period, drink ice cold Peroni.
6. Cook tagliatelle as per packet instructions.Drain and add to sauce. Mix well and turn out into serving dish, scattering basil leaves on top.
7. Have grated cheese on the side.
Very colourful, tasty, easy.

The McCain Gastro chip. When cooked right it is a thing of beauty. The old type 2 diagnosis limits them to a once a month treat now.

Lager and beer with a Magnum chaser. When I drink I get an uncontrollable urge to eat cake, chocolate and ice cream. If I was normal this would be savoury, but obviously I wasn't built proper. I can piss a packet of thee Magnums after a session

Ice cream is banned in my house…I can easily eat a couple of litres in a sitting…..Carte Dor Mint Choc Chip the current favourite, but have to buy at least two tubs as it’s only 900ml

In the same vain I wouldn't divulge to a crackie where to score, I shouldnt be really telling you this either. However being a community forum, I'd be lacking in my care and mindfullnuss if I didnt at least give you a heads up.

FarmFoods have been known to sell the D'or for a fraction of the other retailers, who falsly manipulate it's high price. I have got supplies in before now, for £1 the 900ml tub, and all flavours too. And don't forget the weekly vouchers off if you join their emailing club.

Unsure of what todays price is, but we always pop in to their superstore when in Bury. I think the last time we bought in, it was for £1.39 on selected tubs. The Madagascan and Salted Caramel are an utter delight.

Edit: Just checked my receipt box and it was £1.29 early February for the Madigascan and the Cinnamon biscuit.
