Euphemisms seem to be becoming less widespread since the more inhibited times when people said "white or dark meat" to avoid saying "breast or leg", or "heck" instead of "hell", or even "dickens" to avoid saying "devil".
There are still some colourful euphemisms to describe bodily functions, however. To "spend a penny" goes back for generations, but I prefer "I'm just off to siphon the python".
Vomiting has the usual "talking to God on the big white telephone", for example, and bowel movements provide much opportunity for creative language - I have a friend who, having just emptied his bowels, says "I've just given birth to a log".
As for self abuse, well.............there must be plenty of these
