Can't qualify that as a gangster film, it is entertaining however. Typical Danny Dyer film. 'And keep the change yer Toby'!!

Ok then, I bet the blokes in Goodfellas could have the blokes in The Business any day of the week. Fiver? ;-)CityChick said:Pigeonho said:The Business!

The scene at the end when they do Pesci and his brother over with bats is still as shocking as it was back in the day!
The grey haired guy who beats them to death, who's also in Goodfellas and was in the latter series of Soprano's goes down as one of the best actors ever for me. I know he only plays one type of character, but fuck me he plays it well! He was superb in the Soprano's.
I think if you shop about, particularly after Christmas, you can get the entire box set for about £40. I spent £20 per series as and when they came out. If you're gonna watch it though, start as you mean to go on and get about 1 or 2 a night in if you can. If you watch it and then have a break it becomes hard to follow. Its unlikely you will want a break though because when you get half way through the first series you are hooked. Awesome programme. Just hope the producers don't fuck about and make a film about it. I do though want another series.Fitton said:Pigeonho said:It's awful, because you can just imagine what's going through Pesci's characters mind as he watches his brother get battered to near-death.

Yeah, that's it, watching his brother getting beaten knowing it's gunna be him next. Then they bury them still breathing, brutal!
I've never watched Sopranos properly either, I've seen the odd one here and there.
I may invest in the box set or something.
