Not sure if mentioned but A Sense of Freedom is a great gangster film, mainly centred around the prison system but it's the story of Glaswegian Jimmy Boyle.
 
Goodfellas.. absolute classic that I could watch again and again

And they do half decent pizzas too

Enjoy, I remember a workmate telling me he'd been to see the 'Best gangster film he'd ever seen,' in 1980,
I went to see it and I agreed with him. Interestingly, it was a film bailed out by George Harrison, who created Handmade films, and it very nearly got scrapped, but George took a punt, and the rest is, well, you know.
