Watched the Godfather on Friday afternoon

Ive said to Mrs sf lots of times recently about how the films seem slow and laborious.
She claims they’re just building the story, what story, there isn’t one!
Says its because the modern films I like are too fast paced.

The Godfather was made in 1970 with a fast pace and a well written story that still keeps you gripped now.

I havn't seen it as the length of it put me off. A lad at work told me at work there is a guide to watch like a box set though. I will try to find it.
 
Can't be bothered trawling through the thread but Gangster No1 is good, British film with Paul Bettany and Malcolm Mcdowell.
