That ad was written by my old friend Bob Stanners. He held a casting session for it in which the girl ate a flake and then apologised for having to take off her top to brush the flakes from her naked breasts. She got the part.

When I was an apprentice welder in the shipyard the tradesmen would give you dogs abuse and you had to grow a thick skin very quickly. One day we were all working on a Trident unit and welders were taking it in turns to sing. If you refused your turn you got hot welding rod ends thrown at you! It came to me and this was all I could think of to sing - it went down a treat :)
