Favourite visit to the swamp?

I’ve been a number of times and never seen any side I was supporting there win:
Brightwell 1-1 game
Uwe lob FA Cup game
Howie 1-1 game
England 1 Sweden 1
4-2 FA Cup defeat
The last minute Owen 4-3 game
The last minute League Cup semi
4-2 defeat v VanGaals side
League Cup defeat there in 2016
Warrington v Leeds
Warrington v Wigan x3

I stop going for a bit, we win a few, I decide to start going again, then we don’t win there again.

I decided last year I’m never going to go to that place ever again!

6-1 was unbelievable and my fav....., but my first vist ,the 1-1 brightwell goal, was special visit because it was the first time id been away with City in the top flight with a huge vocal ,behind the goal, away support....and the celebrations for that goal will stay with me forever. The old away terrace goal celebrations were always manic in those days, but the whole terrace behind the goal went mental for a good few minutes that day.i miss standing on a terrace at games,i really do.

The Dennis Law backheel, of course, but also the semi-final of the LC when Tuart’s(?) free kick was touched by Stephanie, it was an indirect free kick so if he had left it, it wouldn’t have counted.

Yep -the 2-2 in 1980 Reeves & Palmer was the same -superb in the scoreboard end.

I was a young kid at that Brightwell game. My Dad has taken me to a number of away games in the promotion season and I loved it so he did the same in the First Division and even though it was a bit scarier with more packed in away ends I still loved it.

When Brightwell scores that screamer to equalise I was scared to death. It was bedlam!

Think I was 8 years old.

Seen the away end celebrations for that a good few times on u tube, and it looked bedlam.i like re- watching that particular footage as i know we get the last laugh and a local lad delivers the deadly blow right at the end.Stand up Roger Palmer, you Mancunian hero...
Unfortunately for me ,the first time i saw Palmer actually play live he scored a hat trick for Oldham whilst i watched on the Kippax ..Never saw that coming,it was a real body blow : (

Bedlam it was -think it was the game when a city fan was hit in the head with a dart!
Oooh Roger Palmer became a bit of a leg end at the latics -the defeats against Oldham and Stockport were lows for me, a million miles away from where we are now.

Any win there is great but out of the ones I’ve been to the Munich derby was the best.
Indeed. City fans behaved implicitly and we beat them to piss on the parade. My highlight of the day was the story of Sun Jihai getting to the airport on the back of a motorbike to join the China squad within minutes of the final whistle.
