He hasn’t signed to miss Champions League games, I think he’ll play on Wednesday and Saturday, maybe just an hour on Wednesday. Maybe more rotation after the World CupCant worry too much about that
They train multiple times a week and it could happen in training just as easily as a match.
That said, I’d have no problem if we rested him in this game or even just give him 45 minutes.
He’s elite, so it’s not going to kill his momentum. And the likes of Álvarez would probably benefit from more game time with the team, just in case they’re called upon in more important games later in the season
