You could not make it up

Marouane Fellaini has described his forearm smash on Pablo Zabaleta as an accident and claimed it was jaw to elbow, rather than the other way round.

Fellaini caused uproar in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford when he swung an elbow into the side of Zabaleta's face and flattened the City right-back.

After seeing referee Michael Oliver settle for a booking, despairing Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness said 'what do you have to do to get a red card these days?' while even former United midfielder Paul Scholes admitted Fellaini had given Zabaleta 'a proper bang.'

I don't like to wish injury on any player, but I'd love someone to end this pricks career. He's a thug who keeps getting away with it, and now he's a rag he'll get even more of a licence to practice his particular brand of thuggery. The refs won't take action until he seriously hurts someone, so with that in mind I hope someone takes his fucking leg off before he hurts anyone else.

Good job he couldn't catch any of our other players . The microphone headed ****

If I ever meet the **** he can apologise for tripping and falling face first onto my foot and he can tidy up all the bits of his teeth as well, nobody likes a litterbug.

Something about that club. I mean he's been a bit of a thug for years but now it's a new level, those cunts encourage it i'm sure.

so does that mean I can punch somebody in the face and then plead my innocence by saying that somebody actually ran into my fist??
cool,i might give it a whirl tomorrow....

He didn't evenn swing his elbow. He held his forearm up rigidly and threw his weight behind it at the moment Zaba would have bodychecked him. It was a dirty snide thing to do and would surely be considered abh off the field?
