Just wondered why the are chanting "Fergie Sign Him Up" tonight - am I missing something?

This isn't another "I hate United" thread, I presume most football fans are watching the match!!

Thoughts?

I swear they were singing "Fergie's right, your fans are shite" earlier.
 
"Thursday nights, on Channel five" I believe, directed towards Liverpool. I switched to Real-Lyon at half time as I coulnd't be arsed listening to all their sad anti City / Scouse songs over and over.

Seriously, beating one of the most successful teams in European cup history at home and all they are bothered about is us.
 
Think the 'Should have signed for a big club' was aimed at Ronaldinho after he turned them down to sign for Barca a while back

I thought they gave Beckham a good ovation tonight, and they started singing it after he sent in a great volley that was saved by the goallie, and the whole ground gave a big oooh.

Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I remember it.

They were also singing 'Gary Neville is a red, he hates Tevez', which had me laughing.
