Haven't read all the thread, so don't know if its already been mentioned, but I believe Baconface has been involved very little in the coaching side this season its been left to the Dutch guy Meulensteen. This guy is highly thought of at the swamp, and will be interesting to see where he fits into the new structure.

Is anyone doing the Fergie retires theme to the Hitler video...... I thought it would be out by now.....lol

Talking of Hitler...the Nazi mods on here placed it in this thread so you'll have to trawl through to find it..

One of the most significant days on here for a while and so much good stuff has been merged..

BOOOOO HISSSSSS MOAN.

Moyes in advanced talks

one unintelligible Scotsman replaces another
seriously Gollum is the best man for the job for utd
he will bring longevity to the job unlike mourinho who would have been there two years at most - very shrewd by the reds - and fergie as director of football
this may be a double edged sword for Gollum though as it was for wilf mcguinness and frank o Farrell

I am disappointed he went out on a high I wanted citys dominance to be expressed - it may make it harder to sign players now as they wont be playing for taggart

LOL at Moyes getting absolute pelters before its even formally announced that he's got the job.. It will only get worse if this turns out to be a cost cutting measure by the Glazerville Gnomes of the West.

Dead right mate, he was an egotistical arrogant old man who would never ''retire'' of his own vocation, Glazers had something on him and have played their trump card, they wanted him out for some reason and i just cant put my finger on it at the moment but it will reveal itself eventually
I suspect its nothing more sinister than the glazers won't agree to buy the players he wants, and needs, to keep them at the top, so he's sacked it.

He's not an idiot, he knows they got lucky this year, both with us not kicking on, and that team, they won the league because of his motivation, RVP's early season goals, and our lack of pushing on, certainly not their collective talents as a squad. It may be a young squad and some of the players will continue to improve, but there are some players who won't, and they are the ones that need a lot of money to replace, and even then some luck at a club like united. There are plenty of quite average players too, who won't be motivated as well by anyone else.

please do not merge this with SAF thread as it is about moyes not saf

127 pages about this pisscan?

Have we got nothing better to do?

Good riddance. The world (and especially English football) will be a better place without this nasty man.

Indeed it does, if everybody out there thinks Ferguson suddenly woke up yesterday and thought ''im retiring'' they are deluded, something has happened in the time from them winning the league until yesterday.
He written in the Chelsea program along the lines of'' this is one of my best squads, another decade of glory, i might not be here for the DECADE but the next few years certainly''
Now you dont put that in a match programme and then a week later retire its just not done, iv posted already in this thread that David Meek on Keys n Gray let a few things slip, now if it would have been Durham interviewing Meek i think he would have dug deeper, he hinted Ferguson was pushed, i would like to find out more about his health, my ex wife had an uncle who looked and had nose bleeds like Ferguson and within a year he was dead.
Some journos in the next few days will have their revenge on the old pisscan and start digging, hold on to your hats blues

Be it his health or something a little more sinister, he has not gone of his own accord, of that im fucking sure as the ***** ego would not allow for it.

I so hope the shit hits the fan and the press goes for his throat!

But they have just won the title. If he was pushed, I doubt it was for purely footballing reasons. I cant see it, personally.
