Fernandinho is a dream

So proud of Ferny as our club captain. He's a fabulous leader and example to the other players. Wonderful player and when the chips were down, he was a critical factor, galvanising the players and standing up to the ESL project.

I have changed my mind, if he wants to stay then we should offer him an extension regardless of his age.

Mount totally bossed him. Not sure I've ever seen anyone make him look that silly.

There did look like a 13 year age gap to be fair , would have been interesting to see how silly Dinho would have looked a couple of seasons ago , time waits for no man.

Totally agree , would offer him the two years he wants , even he plays 25-30% of games he is still a great asset to have around the club

It goes to show that despite how great a manager Pep is, despite the transformative effect Dias had on the team, despite Gundogan’s goals, despite KDB’s brilliance and Stones’ resurgence.... Fernandinho is the man responsible for anything that we win this season. It’s easy to forget just how crap we were until that player meeting was called.
