Thought he was our best player when he was at his natural position but when he went to CB he became somewhat invisible because there was little activity at our end of the pitch and that sense of urgency he brings to our attack was lost when he went back, in my opinion.

Looked great going forward and very poor going backwards.

Perhaps time to accept that playing him and Rodri together helps cover Fernadinho's weaknesses as much as Rodri's.

That said, and as PC has mentioned, still one of the best we had.

Our best player , never stopped for 90 minutes and was the only player picking the ball up an taking the game to them and trying to playing forward / through balls , apart from Dinho our creativity was awful today until Foden came on.

I thought he was easily our best player until Foden came on.

He does have the occasional WTF moment though.
