Love all the behind the scenes stuff, the club are massive on it & always seem to hit the right note whatever the occasion. It can’t be cheap running that kind of operation but when you’re appealing to a worldwide audience it can be very productive. A definite increase in quality since the lockdown with the club realising locals don’t mind a bit of this tooWhat is it about theses City Docs and me blubbing like a baby after?

It was nice seeing how he and a few others were watching out for Kayky. Young players need that kind of influence. Hard to imagine uprooting yourself at 17 or 18 to go play football professionally in another continent.

Did the club decide who is to replace Fern as Captain? It was mentioned in the OS but does not name the player.

IIRC the players vote on a ‘captaincy group’ of three or four senior pros and then that group votes on the actual club captainDid the club decide who is to replace Fern as Captain? It was mentioned in the OS but does not name the player.
