Good deal for everyone, if city get Haaland.

Not sure on Vlahovic. Not many strikers from serie A have done well in PL over the last 20 years.

Can see another Bianchi or Bojinov with that one.

It's also easy to say now, but I just don't see the fuss about him. I have spent most of his City career saying that outside of the times he has been in the right place at the right time (which admittedly is a good trait) he has needed to show more in his overall play. He will most likely be a decent to very good player, but I doubt we will look back at it as the one that got away. He has looked too limited too many times. And he always lacked what a truly special talent like Sane had (all though I think he has a slightly better head on his shoulders)

"Young" Jesse, surely ?

How are the ribs ?

Hope you're on the mend..!
Try not to laugh, but in addition to busted ribs and it turns out a punctured lung, I have also got COVID. Ah well. Hopefully things don’t really come in three’s. But you are off topic.

Very good player and loads of potential still, £55M about right if Sancho went for £76.5M. He wants and needs regular football, I don’t blame him for wanting the move, he won’t get it here due to everyone being better than him.

Good luck Ferran and thanks for the effort you put in :)

good deal for everybody
Torres value will be on the books at around £14m, as circa 6m has been written off already. An immediate profit of £32m plus a future £10m if he reaches the add on criteria. Handy amount plus he’s now off the wage bill freeing up funds for Alfie’s lad, £36m to be amortised over 6 years, £6m per year, no problem (apart from the rock of ages).

I don't think I'll bother asking you for the lottery numbers then..

Hang on in there, get yourself fit and look forward to catching up with you soon..

Back on topic, I liked Torres, sorry to see him go, wish him well and like you say, it looks like we're clearing the decks to make room for another player to come in..

If we're getting £50 million for him then that's the new player's agent fees paid for (allegedly)..!

For me he’s more a midfielder with his dribbling skills, don’t think he has the discipline to be a defensive midfielder, could be wrong but that’s how I think Pep sees it.

He has played there for Ajax, Barcelona and the Netherlands national team.

Dribbling skills doesn't mean he has to play further forwards, e.g. Fernando Redondo.
