All that it has done is weaken our squad as we are coming into the he business end of the season I’m not saying we should never have did Torres but get rid of him in the summer when we will bring in players . If it wasn’t Barca calling it his deal wouldn’t have happened in January very bad timing for this deal but as long as Barcelona are happy that’s the main thing .

If pep can out and said ‘look I have been disappointed with feran since he signed, I don’t think he is good enough and I think Barca have massively overpaid us’

And are still in the first half of the season and the second half is where squad depth comes into play. He could definitely be of use in multiples games not only because he is a unique player in the squad for the 9 role but also in certain games like between UCL knockout games as he was used last season. One less player means one less chance of resting. And that’s counting that we don’t have an injury crisis. The guy starts for the Spain national team, he isn’t someone half-promoted from the EDS three months ago, he could take the responsibility

I already said Pep was probably disappointed by the way he handled his injury during the Nations League final. But this is about the squad. If no one comes in, it’s not good. That’s my take. Will be happy to be proven wrong
