2 v arsenal
1 v burnley
1 v sheff Utd
1 v Leeds
also disappeared in most games and couldn’t get a game in his actual position

I’m not mistaking anything, if I was offered more money and a guaranteed starting spot I’d soon be pretty unhappy if I was blocked from going. If he wasn’t unhappy before it doesn’t matter.

I don’t think Pep is in the business of begging Torres to stay on for 6mths, Pep would rather put his energy into coaching those that want to be here.

That being said, Torres could have done it himself out of loyalty and thank Pep for giving him the chances he has.

Good luck to him at the circus that is Barca, he is going to have the shock of his life when he rocks up and his partner upfront is Luuk DeJong.

I wasn’t ignoring the depression comment you made trying to embarrass me. I think it is people here that make it seem like a player staying for six months longer will bring them closer to depression or a different pathology. I wasn’t mocking or belittling mental health, quite the opposite.

Pep doesn’t have to beg anyone with a long contract to stay, neither does the club. Letting leave in January is a whole different story than in the summer which is when the club can plan accordingly.

Ferran will do great at Barcelona. Luuk de Jong will soon leave. He was requested by Koeman and Xavi has already shown he isn’t fond of him

These numbers are from the season that he was always going to struggle and take time to settle. Let’s not ignore context

The end of the day, for me if someone doesn't want to be here you should look to get the best deal to move them on, there is no reason this can't be a win for everyone, City get a good deal the player gets the move he wants to the club he wants. At the end of the day the footballing world is small and if you treat your players well, prospective players will likely know too.. Lets assume someone is looking at signing for City or Spurs EVERYTHING else being equal after the way they treated Kane in the summer over this transfer, we look a whole lot better as an option.
