Bellamy didn't get a pass, so it's not his fault he didn't get into the game. Robbie played well IMO - Further proof that my answer to 'a' was correct.

Hughes probably thought Benjani was a defender.

b) He got back from Brazil on Friday, probably knackered. Prefer to keep him safe for Hamburg.

I actually (like most Blues no doubt) thought (or screamed at the TV in reallity!) the same thing when he did this, after first spitting everywhere for playing players clearly not fit!!

And if Garrido is, as most have said, not up to it..............why the fook have him on the bench in the first place, maybe having a replacement LB on the bench and then the LB getting injured just didnt make as much sense to Mark as it did for most of us, i would love to hear his thoughts on the matter though as i really dunno on this one!!
