I've always thought that the 10 day appeal process is just about the daftest aspect of FFP. But given that it exists, I cant see how the clock can be deemed to have started ticking until UEFA clarify the important details of the sanctions.

I've thought this a few times but never got around to posting it; who says the other clubs don't know what our agreement is?

In other words, is there anything to suggest that all clubs don't get informed of the details of the agreement when the outline is made public? Otherwise how can they know whether they wish to lodge an appeal or not? Just because its not in the public domain doesn't mean that Wenger and co aren't scutinising it as I type.

No chance. Barry wants to play and he won't play for us, particularly with Fernando on his way in. He'll either stay with Everton or sign with Spurs.

However, strictly speaking she's wrong. It's at least 4 have to be club trained. You could have all 8 club trained if you wanted.

They need to bulk up their squad for Europe, we know they want Barry and Rodwell, they have lost Delofeu, Sinclair cheap replacement. It might be tempting.

We know they'd like Barry but might not fancy his wages. The Rodwell rumours seem just that - conjecture because he used to play for them. Sinclair's also useless; couldn't get a game at relegation threatened West Brom. The three players we'd be offering a probably worth a combined £10m - £15m. Barkley's worth double that easily in today's market and he costs far less per week to Everton than our trio would.

Barry is out of contract so can go where he wants. Rodwell is worth about 2p with his injury record and I think they would actually cry laughing at the prospect of Sinclair. Barkley is their golden goose, they'll get 2 or 3 more seasons out of him then flog him for ridiculous money.
