Fielding A "Weakened" Team

I have alwasy had a lot of time for West Ham. Until we won the Powerball lottery, we actually have had a few things in common. I know it hasnt started with West Ham but they are the latest to bitch and moan about someone fielding a weakened team when Fulham played Wolves. In fact, Wolves were fined 25,000 quid becuase they were deemed to have done so v Trafford Town @ The Theater of Shite earlier in the season.

I dont get it. Its the managers choice on whom he picks and the dopes at the FA shouldnt have a say-PERIOD. Roy hodgson had to look out for the best interests of hsi own team whatever they are! West Ham should stop bitching about whom their relegation rivals are playing and instead pull their own fingers out and collect points!!!!

I agree that managers should decide who they play in any particular game, but why should Wolves get fined for allegedly fielding a weakened team against the rags ( 8 of whom where in the team that beat West Ham) and Fulham get away with it!!

end of the day, its a managers squad so he should be able to decide who plays when. whats the point of having a 25 man squad when you cant play all of them for fear of being fined for fielding a "weakened team". plenty of them players who lined up for fulham were full internationals and decent footballers.

The rule makes sense, but, to blame other clubs for your own demise is just stupid.

They should shut their cake holes and get on with it!

I cannot work out how Fulham playing a weakened side affected Wet Sham and facilitated their losing 5 on the trot???

Exactly!! take care of your own business and you donthave to worry about what anyone else may or may not be doing!! What happens if a few of your first team breach team rules and you suspend them for a week?? A manager cannot do that if he wishes???
