Looks immense. From the early impressions I've read and seen, it is a completely different playing experience and a major improvement on the horror show that was Fifa 12. Can't wait for the Demo which is supposed to hit September 11th.

Looks exactly the same as 12.

Don't think they can make too many changes to graphics as the next-gen console will be around the corner soon.
The changes they have made which are minimal are looking promising. Just the little adjustments to utimate team and clubs are needed and useful. The added first touch bonus and little gameplay animations to make it smoother.

I'm personally looking forward to it but i'm a sad bastard so that makes sense.

What exactly is this 'first touch' thing? They already have that don't they? You can knock your first touch anywhere by using the right stick.

Other than that 'new addition', it looks exactly the same as 12

What was wrong with 12 or is it just the usual "the latest one is shite" bollocks we get every year?

The first touch means that International defenders will continually cabbage foot it straight to a forward who will take it at an impossible angle majestically into a 1 on 1 situation.

Pfft.

Play manual and that forward will shank it 9 times out of 10!

Gameplay is still off, impact/challenging for the ball is off, 6ft 3 16 stone defenders out pacing tricky wingers, all players being able to control the ball exceptionally well, passing goes from sublime to ridiculous, long shots are generally shite but then you'll score a 30 yard scorpion kick. Oh and hugely overpowering some 'name' players...

It's a decent game, but there's still a fluidity missing and an inability to play how you want to play. If you want to be good at FIFA; two touch football, gung ho.

It's a decent game, but its still pretty limiting.

-- 15 Aug 2012, 22:28 --

Impossible, AI is as shite as it was a decade ago and online; its such a disability it makes games uncompetitive.

How come you never join in the Fifa12 leagues then? Or are you a poor xbox kinda guy? ;-)
