The €200,000 won't change the world but a stadium ban is essentially a fine of €2,000,000 or more.

Added to the bans from FIFA, and the Hungarian FA is looking at losing €6,000,000 plus this year.

That is not a trivial amount. If you think financial sanctions work, that's a plenty big enough number to cause action.

Just thought it is pretty likely that he will find a way to give them a cash boost so that financial sanctions aren't effective.

Until these clubs/countries start getting nothing less than thrown out of the entire competition, nothing is going to change, it’s the only thing that will make them think about their actions and possibly make them stop imo.

But some will attend and make racist chants in an attempt to get the national team banned for political purposes

And before you say " no one would be daft enough to do that" well there are far worse acts carried out for supposed political and religious reasons, such as strapping a bomb to your back and setting it off amongst children
