FIFA/UEFA Investigations

Don't buy it as if there is anything juicy in it the media will tell us soon enough
There won't be.

It'll be all about how St Sepp exposed corruption and took the bullet to protect FIFA....

This dude is the favourite.

A member of the open and transparent Bahrain royal family who have a long history of murdering protesters seeing democracy. Sounds like a perfect fit....

Yea. The slate of candidates are all just More Of The Same. Infantino seems the least worst but still deeply suspect given his long association with Platini. Nothing is going to change in reality. Just some new curtains being put up.

No wonder Ferguson is backing Infantino. He's the one who does the CL groups, a thank you for all those piss easy groups he's given the rags over the years!

Not voted for by all of them hmmm

FIFA passes a series of sweeping reforms in a bid to clean up world football's governing body following years of corruption.
Its congress body, meeting in Zurich, Switzerland, agreed the the package of proposals by 179 votes to 22, an 89% approval.Seven delegates abstained from the vote
FIFA will later elect a new president to take over from Sepp Blatter, who was banned from football for six years for ethics violations.

I see the FIFA audit chief has resigned because Infantino has given the central committee the power to fire members of the committee and therefore impede or curtail investigations.

As people said at the time - 'meet the new boss, same as the old boss.'

It's a basic truth that you don't rise to the top of criminal organisations without being a crook yourself but what else could we expect from the best mate of Platini.

FIFA needs burning to the ground.

Joke world football rulers FIFA really have washed their dirty linen in public.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino is heard on a leaked audio tape complaining about having to pay for his shirt, socks and underpants to be cleaned.

The 17-minute recording of the murky FIFA Council meeting before the Congress in Mexico City has Infantino moaning that the internal witch-hunt against him included demands that he pay for his own laundry while on FIFA business.

Bump with some interesting updates from Rob Harris

Revealed: How FIFA changed the ethics code to make it easier to get away with bribery and easier for them to punish critics of the governing body.
“Corruption” was also removed from the lists of offences.
FIFA won’t explain why ...

Keep bribes quiet for 10 years & now FIFA won't punish you

FIFA now threatens anyone in football with a ban for making any “public statements of a defamatory nature” about FIFA or FIFA events

So much for the brave new world
