FIFA/UEFA Investigations

All the despots and dictators use that excuse don't they,i don't think it will enough to get him off the shit that is coming his way

Not just despots and dictators, all fraudsters use it. We call it "fraudsters' fever". Oddly, it only ever strikes when they get caught.

More Corruption

The head of Germany's football federation, Wolfgang Niersbach, has resigned following over a payment made to FIFA.

What are the odds eh?

The only approach to take is to assume anyone currently connected to FIFA is corrupt. Burn the place down, nuke it from orbit to be safe and start again.

And now the very man organising the 2018 WC for Russia is heavily implicated in the IAAF doping scandal and will be investigated by the FIFA Ethics (sic) Committee.

We all know nothing will be done, either about the WC or banning Russia from the next Olympics. I just despair sometimes. Wherever you turn there's cheating on an industrial scale. It's only a matter of time before the same happens with Rugby. All those steroid or something or another pumped behemoths.

Amazing. Resigns from his position due to bribery allegations but keeps his job at FIFA:

Wolfgang Niersbach: German FA president to stay on Fifa committee
Wolfgang Niersbach will stay on Fifa's executive committee despite resigning as German Football Association president over bribery allegations.

Nobody will ever have faith in the integrity of FIFA ever again.
As mentioned it all needs to be torn down, it is not like they rule footy, they appointed themselves overlords so we just carry on until a new organisation is formed.

Beyond silly now, you can't patch the titanic with a fucking elastoplast. Anytime i hear "referred to fifa's ethics comittee" i shake my head with deep incredulity.
