IMO not a penalty watching at full speed, slow motion always makes it look worse. What’s worrying though is that the ref standing about seven yards away with a clear view of it gave it as a corner and not a goal kick.

Why wouldn’t it? VAR was used perfectly there. There’s also been a big improvement in its use in the few weeks the tournament has lasted it didn’t take anywhere near the time it was taking at the start.
