Don't know much (i.e. anything) about this guy, but apparently we're on the verge of signing him.

Done the obligatory Youtube scouting, and he looks like an exciting prospect. Right footed left winger, little and tricky, decent pace, very technical and looks seriously brilliant in front of goal. Strikes it really well. Imagine he'll be loaned out next season too but he doesn't look that far away. Already played Europa League football. Wouldn't bet against him being part of the squad in the next 2 years.

I imagine we'll be looking for a Europa League level side to loan him out from January, seeing as Partizan didn't qualify this season.

Thanks for your due diligence, saved me looking :-)

Cheers Ric,but i've stopped getting excited by such signings as if history is anything to go by,invariably we'll never get to see him in our first team.

I'd love us to concentrate on developing, and not losing, our current talent before adding more to our books.

I'm with you on this one.
We have the smallest panel in the champions league (21) because we have not one player in the team over 21yrs brought up through the club.
Our 3 main premier league opponents have the likes of Mount, Rashford, TAA, Reece James, Hudson Odoi now established.

I had got excited a few years ago when we bought Enes Unal, Douglas Luiz and Marlos Moreno, among others. None of them had work permits at the time and have all gone separate ways having kicked no ball for the club. I realise they may not have been up to standard but Unal is a Turkish international now and Luiz is playing regularly for Villa along with playing for the Brazilian team.
I won't even go down the Patrick Roberts route.

I recall watching Rashford score 2 for United on his debut against Arsenal in a Wembley pub prior to a Carabao cup final. He took his chance and hasn't looked back since.
Pep is a stubborn man but surely somebody in the club sees the need to bring through young players.
If they get a chance and aren't up to it so
be it.

Arent the partnership going to be annuled in 2021? Becouse they dont use the loaned players.

I've no idea. If that is the case then maybe we should send them some good ones? That said, Girona went doen so maybe Breada have seen what's coming....

Most likely to find a new dutch club, Twente? Utrecht? Or they will use Lommel SK if the league level is similiar to the dutch

Would love for one of these buy to loan players to actually become a first team regular one day or do we just buy them in the hope we can sell at a profit later on?

Has been mostly the latter as it helps us with outgoings in transfer window.
