Film Download query

just need a bit adive off all you tech know how people,ive downloaded the odd film for yrs now on my same laptop but now when i download a film i get no sound on them,anyone with any ideas why all of a sudden this as happened,i still get sound though things like youtube so it not the speaker thats goosed,cheers

Stop downloading ODD films...that'll fix it ;)

But seriously it might be a codec issue.Update your codecs and see if that works.

Codec problem. I use VLC player and it plays pretty much everything.
