I'm with you on that, thought Starship Troopers was fantastic, they have made more than two, all the others are dogshit though

The Fall of a Nation in 1916, the follow up to Birth of a Nation is considered the first sequel.

Given the subject matter of both, it's rarely celebrated.

National Treasure 2 was no worse than the 1st

Exorcist 2 I don't think I ever saw but reportedly dreadful.

EXORCIST III is the "official" follow up, written by the original author, and is very good, while it may not have the kudos of the original, it has plenty of chills.
