I am currently trying to help a profoundly deaf relative who relies on sign language, find a job. They have a university degree and ideally would want a job in admin or accountancy.

So far, she has been very unsuccessful for several years despite getting specialist employment/job search support.

I feel for her greatly, as almost any job relies heavily on verbal communication.

Anyone who has helped a deaf person in employment? Thanks

Well done on helping her mate. Class.

I hope she can find something suitable to her talents soon.
