Fined £260,000 for Villa pitch invasion.

How many of the people supporting pitch invasions and snapped cross bars will be moaning when their season card goes up by another tenner next year?

The pitch invasions aren’t a very big deal to me and people know they might be looking at bans as a punishment.

It’s not a tradition in the rest of the Europe including many countries where football fans are arguably more passionate
Am sure that all those who ran on the pitch will be contacting City to offer to pay, say, £100 each for the fine enacted due to their self entitled actions. Won't they??

Clubs get fined all the time.

United and West Ham have had fines recently for their fans’ behaviour n’all.

Our pitch invasion wasn’t even a big deal, I have no idea why so many of our fans are so upset by it. It was an outpouring of emotion for the second greatest end to a league season of all-time and a handful of people did a couple of silly things. Nothing serious happened, nobody even got hurt never mind anything more serious. Someone got a little bit too close to the Villa ’keeper and a couple put their weight on the middle of the crossbar on purpose to bring it down… the 9,997 (guess) others on the pitch were just celebrating, and that’s literally it.

Time to just move on.
