Just had a quick look....doesn't seem like I'll be retiring anytime soon.Ebay 99p start, 10 day listing. Take a few nice photos of the best FDCs. Don't offer free postage.
I'd be interested also, got loads in mint condition from the mid / late 60's. They just kept appearing in the post.....Seem to remember a firm called Stanley Gibbons/Gibsons in Manchester
My suggestion would be to always use the Green Cross Code when crossing the road.My father in law died 3 weeks ago. We were over at his house sorting his stuff out etc. He has various books of Royal Mail first day covers in immaculate condition , some pre decimal coins and an unused Morphy Richard’s iron still in its original packaging from 1975.
I have no clue about the value of all this.
I googled the iron, they have the same one in the Science Museum.
The whole lot might be worth a few quid or more than likely next to nothing.
Any suggestions?

Think I might have that very one.We sold a load of inherited FDCs a few years ago. The only one that got 'good money' was for the Concorde first flight... About £3.80 as I recall.
Don't book that holiday just yet.
