Negredo is a beast

Jove managed to impress in the limited time he had.. Hungry for the ball and link up play very promising.

Jesus saves. He'll do some damage. Edin will thrive on this and he'll be a great hit with the fans. He's such a direct player. We missed that last season.

Fern showed vision and accuracy. He'll play many a defence splitting ball.

They all look clever footballers.

Beautiful link up play.

If this lot settle quickly, we will be difficult to stop.

Well done Pellers.

No mention of our quiet neighbours? Are you feeling okay Pam?

This is looking like our best transfer window ever. I'm thinking we have got four out of four right. More time required to be sure but initial signs are superb. And every player looks to be the right kind of player for us. We look so much more balanced.

Extremely happy with all four.

Navas has looked excellent on the wing for Spain in the Confederations Cup. He has looked great when he has played for us. I honestly thought that at £14,000,000 he would be a squad player and have attributes similar to Lennon. What an idiot I am. He has the pace of Lennon, but not only are his crosses pin point, he has the ability to play the ball on the ground. Great player who will start every game in my opinion.

Ferna, looks solid. Gets around all over the pitch, athletic, technically good. An upgrade on Barry for sure.

Jovetic, I know that he will be a great player for us. Having seen him in Serie A for the last few years, he has the balls that Nasri doesn't.

Negrado. Another that I was underwhelmed by. I am a tool. He looks great, powerful and technically very able. Deserves a goal for his contributions so far.

My initial thoughts are all pretty positive. Obviously it will take time for us to see just how good these players can be, and getting excited over a couple of good performances is a little premature, but it's nice to have some new signings worth being excited about.

They seem to be signings that complement the squad rather than just the first team - we now have depth throughout the team in important positions and we have natural width.

One problem we've always had is a loss of creativity without Silva but by signing Jovetic and Navas we've more than improved an area of the team that was lacking in depth.

Another thing to note is that they all seem extremely hungry for success. Fernandinho seems as excited as we would all be if we were given the chance to play for City, and that can only be a positive thing.

Let's make sure we give them all a very warm welcome against Newcastle. Even though I'm unlikely to be there due to difficult circumstances, I'll be giving my ticket to someone who will be cheering them on nonetheless.

We have assorted instruments rather than all guitars.

^^This

they have all fitted into the team effortlessly and look like they have filled the gaps that we were so void of last season.
