For a fresh water fish, Walleye is hard to beat. Caught some great tasting Lake trout on Yellowstone lake but most of it isn’t that good

It really is delicious. I had it twice last week with fried eggs for breakfast.
Got one in the fridge for tonight.

Yes, but several species of freshwater fish taste earthy. Best soaking in brine before cooking.
