Anyone know how to import the City fixture list from the OS into my Google work calender.

I downloaded the ICS file from the the OS, opened Calender, then settings, then imported calender from download folder.

But nothing shows anyone managed to do this.

you need to subscribe to the calendar.

copy this link (right click)

<a class="postlink" href="webcal://www.mcfc.co.uk/Handlers/FixtureICalendar.ashx?teamid=D7D91550-F6C6-49B4-9E23-FF665C0F7AC0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">webcal://www.mcfc.co.uk/Handlers/Fixtur ... 665C0F7AC0</a>

in your google calendar, go to 'other calenders' on the left hand side, "add by URL",

Bosh.

Download ICS file, Open google calendar, down arrow on my calendars(LHS), create new calendar (name it fixtures), down arrow on other calendars, import calendar (import it to fixtures), go back to my calendar & change the colour if you want and toggle it so that it shows up on the screen. Note, you'll have to go to end of August.

It's important to save it separate from your normal calendar, when they change it and a new version comes out I think that you may have to make fixtures 2 etc and delete the old one as it may keep the old entries and add new ones.

Only just done that as I just download it for my phone but this seems to work dimilarly to the way it works in outlook.

I got 41 events

Correction: the post above mine will keep it updated properly, forgot about that as it doesn't do it for my phone, ignore!

Ninja edit! ;)

iPhone? If you subscribe to that webcal it won't show any events on it even though it says it worked. I used the feed at mysportsfixtures.com for my iPhone calendar.

Boom that was easy cheers geezer!!

1an3 I just copied the link (didn't subscribe as I'm not going to use it and don't want updates) It put the fixtures in but the times were wrong by an hour up until DST is over whereas they were correct when I imported them manually.

Odd and maybe something to do with the settings

No mate, Nokia running symbian S60. Still in the dark ages as it works best with my nokia car kit software. Newer apps are not being developed for it any more

The feed from mysportsfixtures.com has the correct times in, must be an issue in the MCFC one.

Couldn't work it out, looked at the 2 calendars' settings and the one I did that had the right times just said time zone London (GMT +00:00) and the one from the link had the same but then also said 'no daylight saving' so it looks like the format in the file is local time and it gets interpreted as GMT. I'm not spending any more time looking at it now.
