Fixtures Calendar - 2021/22

Yes, your latter point is why I think we would prefer the game in that last midweek on or around 18th. We shall see…
I'm trying to get a feel for when Wolves may be based on what games Sky already have scheduled for those midweeks. I suspect they will try to avoid having a couple of really significant games on the same evening as that will split viewing figures for each game in terms of neutrals and impact on advertising revenue. We can't play on either Tuesday as we play on the preceding Sunday of both weeks. That leaves:

Wednesday 11th Leeds v Chelsea on Sky
Thursday 12th Spurs v Arsenal on Sky
Wednesday 18th No PL games currently scheduled - Europa League final is on that night
Thursday 19th May Chelsea v Leicester on Sky

I'd say there's zero chance of Sky wanting us playing at the same time as the North London derby - they will want that as the only game of the evening.
I don't know what the protocol is for playing on the same night as the EL final. UEFA have been more flexible in allowing PL games to be played on the same nights as their competitions this season but I'm not sure that would stretch to a final. And if West Ham get there, BT wouldn't be too happy if Sky wanted to screen a big PL game that night.
I reckon our visit Wolves may be on the same night as one of the Chelsea games so either Wednesday 11th or Thursday 19th. Not sure that playing Thursday then Sunday to end the PL season is ideal but having a free midweek following the Newcastle game on the 8th would be welcome after the chaotic schedule and relentless big games. There are pros and cons to playing in both of the possible midweeks.

Fair play for that level of looking into it mate. So just remind me, why not the 18th then? That date would be favourite for me, having read your post.

In my view, there is only two dates available for Wolves (A) ... Wed 11th or Wed 18th ... and since it's already a Sky TV pick, they'd have a say on which one they choose (in respect to their other picks in that mid-week).

The big stumbling block regarding the 18th is the Europa League final. Not sure whether UEFA would even allow domestic games to be played that night and if they did, should West Ham get there BT may kick up a fuss about Sky showing a pivotal PL fixture at the same time.
I concur that date would definitely be the best for us and I’m not completely ruling it out just yet.

If it was the same night as Europa final,it could possibly kick off a bit earlier as in 6-30pm-7-00 pm or is the final kicking off at 7-00pm ..

Says who?

Manchester rush hour doesn't matter to TV companies.
The game's at Wolves but they rarely stray from a later ko time mid-week.

European match or weekends yes but a Midweek PL game! Be a huge decision to schedule an early ko for a PL game.

Don't forget Liverpool have to slot in Southampton away in the last week (postponed from Cup Final weekend).
