Fixtures Calendar - 2023/24

The first game I always look for is the last game of the season. 4 of our 7 titles have been won on the final day. West Ham at home is, I think, good. The run in, in general, looks ok. I’m happy.

So we have Arsenal, Chelsea, united and LiVARpool around 4 of our 6 Champions League group fixtures!
And Spurs! What are the odds of having to play those five teams either before or after the six CL games? Unfortunate coincidence that five of the 12 teams we have to play would in previous seasons along with ourselves be part of the so called big six. Random my arse.

Matchday 1: 19/20 September 2023 - WHU A before and Forest H after
Matchday 2: 3/4 October 2023 - Wolves A then Arse A
Matchday 3: 24/25 October 2023 - Brighton H then Scum A
Matchday 4: 7/8 November 2023 - Bournemouth H then Chelsea A
Matchday 5: 28/29 November 2023 - Dippers H then Spurs H
Matchday 6: 12/13 December 2023 - Luton A then Palace H

I figure the best time to play u lot would have been the start of the season away from home as you'd probably be a bit laggy. As it is, we're screwed.

Maybe this time can you give us a 15 point lead ?

A nice, local trip for Brentford on Boxing Day. They really don’t give a shit, do they?

When was our last home opening fixture?

We play 12 games either side of the champions league games and there's only 19 teams available to play in the league so the chances are pretty high. There's only 7 teams we avoid. We also play 5 teams who were scrapping for relegation and a newly promoted teams either side, but I suppose that doesn't fit the agenda?

Also, I'd much rather play them away early in the season and have the home games when we're going for the league than the other way round

That makes it 7 seasons on the spin and 9 in the last 10 that City have started the season away. The corollary is that the rags have opened the season at home 9 times in the last 10 seasons. At least we're at home for the final fixture. (5th time in the last 10 seasons which is 50/50).

Amazing how this completely random fixture generator has us away again and the 2 Promoted teams away at a time they still have a bounce in their step. Though i do wish the 1st games were like the last day and all kicked off at the same time
