Did you get the compensation
So far I’ve just had back that they’ve received the documents they requested and it’s been added to my claim
And they are reviewing it but it could take upto 6 weeks.
I emailed yesterday for an update and got the exact same “we are reviewing it” email response.

Does anyone have the exact wording used in the e mail to jet 2 for the claim and the corrrcyve mail address
I’ve deleted everything and someone needs a bit of help

They’ve basically just replied that as I didn’t pay for the flight I’m not entitled to compensation.
Despite the fact they’ve already compensated a fair few people.

provably just trying it on , but I’ll keep on at them :)

Apologies if you have already answered it, but just say whoever paid for the flights (say they bought 3 on their card) dont they get compensated 3 times?

I think they mean because city provided them for free.
But I’m not asking to be compensated for the price of the flight more the 16 hour delay.
I’ll see what they come back with but if they can offer other people compensation then they can for me too,

plus I’ve promised to buy the kids an Xbox with it

Tell the kids it’s on its way
 
There is a claim form template on the Jet2.com website that should be used. You just add copy of boarding card. All responses to claims are automated. This is not a refund but compensation.
