SWP, I genuinely thought they were women's sandals until I looked at who posted it.

I wear Havaianas pretty much all the bastard time. Infact Mrs P only said last night how funny it is that I have a tan line from them going across my toes. I've walked to the off licence in deep snow in them, and had some very dubious looks. I don't give a fuck though and when I do have to wear proper shoes or trainers, I have a little tantrum inside.

Fair play to you though SWP, for having the utter brass balls to wear those.

I wore them to the piss up in town the other day with shorts and a wife beater.

If you have got it, flaunt it. :)

You would have to be a handsome bastard to carry off that look.

A young Student who worked in a Bar in drank in seemed confused when a Geordie asked for a Pint of Wifebeater once. I had to lean in and translate.

I know what a pint of wife beater is, just never heard of anyone wearing a wife beater!

Mini describes Frankie's vest as a wife beater in Series 5 of Skins. I don't recall hearing it elsewhere.

They are a piece of fucking cardboard with some string attached and I've just read people talking about them as if they were describing an item of high fashion. Fuck me.
