FM08 formations

decided to give 08 one more play before 09 comes out. What is the best formation to play?

4-4-2 and 4-3-3 are getting crushed at the moment

Thats the formation I play, with Richards and Kompany passing short, tackling hard, 75% closing down and no creativity.

Elano with 75% creativity and passing 100% direct.

RB and LB both RWB and forward runs.

That's basically what i won the Champs league, Prem and FA cup with, before the new stuff from this season.
 
My Bayern Munchen team is:

I have Diego as playmaker and free role with Sosa and Alex making runs to Diego's position. Works a treat. Sosa gets a huge amount of assists.

Isaksson
Zaccardo
Rafael Forster
Lassana Diarra
Schweinsteiger
Barazite
Podolski/Okaka

Good tip for corners. Put a big guy on near post flick ons and mark keeper and aim the corners for 6 yard box. Both central defenders will get about 10 goals a season, maybe more.

I think that's actually a bug in the game

Creativity should be used very sparingly. I have my defenders and defensive mids limited to very little creativity, but give my attacking mids plenty
 
Has anyone ever gone into the editor and changed the finances?

I made City very very rich (which we are), then upped the transfer kitty and bought Silva for £78 million.

Since then the game keeps making out im in mahoosive debt?!!??!?!?!?!?

Its fucking absurd!

But if you make your tallest player mark the keeper, wont he mark him the whole game? Not just at corners?

You've probably given yourself too much money. If it goes over £2 billion it fucks up, very primitive really

Google FMM 2.25 and download it. You need to start a new game and then open up the fmm 2.25. You can edit finances on here properly. It's like an in-game editor.
 
I use a formation/tactic called 'kim 8.02 no tweaking'

You should be able to find it on si games community website.

Anyway it's awesome. Beat Chelsea 7-0 yesterday. Richards will probably score about 20-30 a season because there is a bug on the corners.

Also beat Bury 9-0 in League cup with it. It's sorta cheating really. Won every single game i've played this season on it.

Without this tactic i find the game incredibly frustrating and stupidly difficult. Unfortunately it gets a bit boring after a while with this tactic.

Google FMM 2.25 and download it. You need to start a new game and then open up the fmm 2.25. You can edit finances on here properly. It's like an in-game editor.

You use this whilst playing a game? Instead of the pre-game editor built-into the game?

You get the same guy who is on the corner to mark the keeper?
