I was going to have a bet today,on Liverpool 3.1 and Downing to score first,as a double.
Was that possible?Obviously I know it didn't work out that way.But is that kind of bet possible? What other permutations are on offer? I know its limitless, but simplify.
All input is welcome.Thanks.

That bet's called a scorecast and every bookie offers it. For live matches it will be on the back of betting coupons or prominently publicised in their shop window.
Reason being, it's a high risk bet and they never give you the true odds.

E.g. If a player is 4/1 to score first and 2-0 is 4/1, the true odds should be 25/1.
Bookies will give you around 14/1 as they say your man scoring first (and making it 1-0) puts your team halfway to winning the game 2-0.

As far as I know, only bookie who gave the "true odds" was when Digibet were in situ at the ground a few years ago.
