Football Leaks/Der Spiegel articles

"The magazine [Der Spiegel] shared access to the documents with Reuters and more than a dozen other media outlets in cooperation with European Investigative Collaborations (EIC)."

Haha I thought I might get picked up on that :) and in doing so assert you probably did a bit more thinking about my claim than most reports I've read here have. My point badly made was that Reuters aren't a newspaper - I wasn't sure how much access the UK media has to the actual documents. So for example does can the telegraph see the documents and emails? I don't they they do. So in a story about honesty and integrity there is a lot of violent emotion flooding the airwaves about how dishonest we've been with out any discussion about how accurate the documents may or may not be. It is assumed city are guilty of everything claimed. Mostly though I wanted to make a joke about @gordondaviesmoustache

Looks like they letting Pep answer the question on Der Spiegel leaks which I find incredible they should of shut down the media as soon anyone asks a question on stolen emails! City pr regarding this is baffling.
I sometimes wonder about the quality of our communications operation. The shambles with our website was amateurish and raised some alarm bells. And there's no way Pep should be exposed to any of this. Not least because it pre-dates his time at the club.
I am not suggesting we should adopt the Trump strategy but when I watch some of these press conferences I am amazed at the general lack of respect shown by some of the media. It is the job of the media to challenge and ask tough questions but too many of them are dishonest and not impartial. The personal comments they make on Twitter about City undermine their credibillity as Reporters. Some of the social media stuff (including the BBC) is essentially trolling the club.

I was going to pull you up on your egregious misspelling of 'lager' but I was consumed with an overwhelming sense of goodwill :-)

The issue I have with this, is the blind assumption that we've done anything wrong. That a few claims of wrong doing written from a very biased perspective are being taken as gospel.

There’s obviously a backlog of legit emails validating the articles, otherwise Der Speigel would be bankrupted by damages paid out to City and PSG.

There will be a ban from European competition, minimum; this is UEFA’s last chance to keep the prestigious revenue generators within their dependently-lucrative competitions - they’re not going to facilitate the breakaway Super League by pandering to two wealthy clubs who’ve been exposed as being ‘creative’ with their accounting and revenue.

If Infantino was still part of UEFA, then they might have felt compelled to resist, but him since leaving the organisation allows them to scapegoat him, and for the current President to score brownie points for restoring the organisation’s reputation and ethics.

I noticed I'd misspelt it before I posted but thought I'd leave it there as a subtle meta joke about your famed physique. At least when my wife tells me you're twice the man that I am I assume that is what she means

Feels like a can of worms that nobody wants to open. As in everyone's guilty so let's just hope it goes away.

What will the ban be for?
