we Must be doing well if Amnesty international are in the line to kick us. They talk about human rights abuses of the construction workers in the uae, they aren’t kidnapped from India and Pakistan. These workers go of their own free will because the living conditions and wages in their own country are rock bottom, they spend a few years in construction in the UAE and they go home to their country with money in their pockets and able to afford higher living standards.
You never hear of gangs of youths riding round Dubai which is similar size to London and chucking acid and stabbing people to death. They have a different attitude to what we put up with here. You can’t be unemployed there they will throw you out of the country, where we work and prop up a generation of people who will live on benefits bevause they don’t want to. Go do some google searches and I think your will find that Abu Dhabi and Dubai are two of the safest citys on the planet, they don’t put up with the shit that we moan about when it comes to crime.
If it’s that bad over there why do thousands of people from this country migrate to work over there? The stanadard of living and wages on offer in the UAE and Qatar are a lot better than what we get in the free thinking world. Go visit a place and form an opinion first rather than be ignorant about a place.
