I have Football manager on MAC and every time i click on a players name the game crashes.
I have searched the internet and have found no answers for mac, (there were ways for windows).
Was just wondering if anybody knew how to fix this or had the problem themselves?
Cheers

i found this:

First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders.

XP:
My Computer
'Tools'
'Folder Options'.
The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Windows Vista and Windows 7:
My Computer
'Organize'
'Folder and Search Options'.
The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Delete the following folder:

XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\Settings

Vista/Win7:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\Settings

or

Step 1pen up your steam
Step 2: Go onto your games list
Step 3: Right click on Football Manager and select properties
Step 4: Select the Local files tab on the far right
Step 5: Click the option Verify integrity of game cache
Step 6: Click the option Defragment game cache
It should now be complete

Thats what i found but im on a mac and i dont have the options to show 'hidden folders' :/

Ok ave you tried in the app docs folder?

Double click on your mac's hard drive icon either on the desktop or in the sidebar of a Finder window.
Look for a folder called Applications - this contains your application data.

Yes its a legit copy of footy manager and im running snow leopard 10.6.
Still cant seem to get it working :/

Have you installed all the latest updates for your MAC? If not try that, otherwise I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling Football Manager
