I don't know how you guys find the time to play this
game. I take it you're single and don't have kids? I
used to love Football Manager 2008, but then realised
I just didn't have the time to play it. Young kids put

its easy, i have plenty of time between watching jeremy kyle, sky sports news and going to sign on once a week.........

developed a 3-2-1-2-2 formation that works a treat, will post it on here when i can.

I dread to think how long I have spent on FM.

My knowledge of players however is ridiculous, always makes me laugh when a team signs a player who you signed and turned into a superstar on FM like 3 or 4 years ago.

Same here.

FM can really turn you into a football genius for people who don't know the game properly.

It's a great game and there are loads of people who make the database but lets not pretend that it gives any real life football knowledge, for every Kompany there's a Freddy Adu.

hahaha, how you play them? i have 3 central defenders, 2 defensive midfielders, 1 advanced playmaker, 2 wingers and 2 advanced forwards. play an attacking game with lots of pressing and an emphasis on getting the ball wide for the wingers to get crosses in. have to keep telling myself its not real life when things go wrong.........

Although away from home against tough teams i'll maybe drop 1 of the attacking midfielders back.
