They haven't got the game engine quite right yet so wingers score lots of easy goals at the minute & keepers have lots of bugs etc. It's definitely going to be harder though in general I'm pretty sure.

Yes!
Started as Oldham lost 6 of the first 7 so gave up
Started as City and used my same tactics on 2012 where i pretty much blitzed the league
Won my first 2 games then didnt win in 4. Worked out that teams were actually countering this tactic so i had to change it around. I now start looking at teams previous games and tactics and have sent 2 scouts to my next opponents to get detailed analysis
Yes its time consuming but more rewarding

took till december to work out how to play us last season.
don't like it, no matter what I seem to do the AI seem to score with every attack and I seem to get no clear-cut chances, doesn't make sense.

Football manager has been too hard for me since about 2006 so if it has got even harder I think I'll be avoiding this. Why make it so damn hard though, takes all the fun out of the game in my opinion.

It's pissing me off as Oldham manager that when I'm trying to loan the cream of City & United's reserves, I'm being told to fuck off because they would rather loan them to a Championship team, despite noone else being interested in them.
I've only managed to get Wabara on loan and signed an Italian defender called Comazzi on a free transfer.
Very hard this one.

Started a game with City and won the league, CL, and FA Cup in the my first season. Second season fucked it off after Christmas when I was ten points clear in the league.
Tried a game with Liverpool. Finished second behind City (two points behind them), and won the EUROPA league in the first season.
Wingers are scoring lots of goals at the moment which I've no doubt will change in the final version. Although as things stand I don't have a problem with it! Also think the GK's need a tweak during the match engine. Too many apparent howlers.
Player wise the only one that's jumped out is Bernard from At Mineiro. Signed him in the Liverpool game. Finished the first season joint top scorer with Suarez and top assist maker. The other one was Rodrigo from Benfica. His stats are much better than in the previous game. Brought him in in January and he settled right in and got amongst the goals.
Overall I love the feel of the new game. The interface is much improved and much smoother (having a new laptop helps). The whole thing seems easier to navigate.
